When approached to design the event guide for The North East Festival of Architecture, our brief was to create something interactive and inspirational whilst still remaining relevant and useable.
Having explored a variety of paper-engineering techniques the final concept was a foldout guide which could be re-folded into a cubic building block - generally providing entertainment for kids and frustration for adults!
The event was a huge success with a vast range of activities, talks and classes talking place around the area – our origami services have been re-requested by the client to create an innovative calendar in the coming months.

Barber Living specialise in high quality property conversions across Northumberland. The company pride themselves on paying extremely close attention to detail with luxurious materials and fittings throughout their contemporary styled properties.
El Roboto were brought on board to develop a company logo and to brand a range of promotional materials, press ads and business stationery.
A mini website www.barberliving.co.uk has also been produced to provide details on the company and recent developments while the fully content managed website is under construction.

El Roboto recently completed a range of promotional posters and media packs for film production company Ipso Facto, for use at the Cannes 2008 Film Festival.
One of the completed films - 'The Burial' is a comedy by Jack and Jill Films following three brothers on a road trip to bury their recently deceased mother. The brief required that the poster portray the 'comedy of errors' encountered on the emotional and eventful journey.
A website followed from the poster, providing visitors with image galleries, cast details, film trailer and more. The website www.theburial-film.com was built using our content management system 'Capitan'.

Working with Kalliope Radio Productions Ltd, El Roboto have created a dynamic and organic brand for the Production company.
The brand is based on creative growth and sound waves, which are reflected in the logo and the supporting word waves. Creating a crisp and clean look with strong bold colours as a contrast creates a modern cutting-edge feel for the otherwise organic brand.
Look out for the website coming soon!

El Roboto made the winning pitch for Tyne & Wear Tourism's Discover pass, beating off some of the top agencies in the region.
The pass, which costs £1, entitles members to a range of money saving deals at the regions top attractions, and is proving to be a real success!
The brief included the naming of the pass, and the project so far has included branding, merchandise, advertising, point of sale, exhibition materials and a 50,000 print run of the brochure/member pack.
