Graphic design is used in disciplines such as advertising, corporate identity and marketing, web design, journalism and in the public sector to communicate with the end user more effectively. There is much blurring between disciplines nowadays such as between advertising, illustration and design; however, our view is that designers should always look for the most effective solution to a design problem.
